I've made resources that they can easily revert to, videos to make explanation bearable and diagrams to simplify complex/confusing concepts specific to our work. I even structured the materials so that newcomers could easily pick them up.
I had to make sure that they are going to be able to continue our work. It was not about the pride and the need to prove that we have been valuable employees, but most importantly, it’s because, it was the right thing to do - to help the company move forward. To help everyone move forward. It was simply, work ethic.
